"Gender Cafe" is a space to discuss issues and awareness of matters related to gender.

On March 8th, International Women's Day, we will hold the "Women's March Kumamoto".


LGBTQ+ Youth Safe Space Opening

We have decided to create a safe space for young people between 10 and 30 years old. Here LGBTQ+ people (including those who are still not sure) can gather. The space at the back of YWCA Kumamoto 2F will be partially renovated to make it a gathering place.

[Date and time] May 22th (Sat) 13:00 ~ 17:00.

[Place] YWCA Kumamoto 2F (2-27-21 Kurokami, Chuo-ku, Kumamoto City).

*Please refrain from participating if you are not in good physical condition to prevent the spread of the new coronavirus. In addition, please wear a mask when joining.

[Participation fee] Free.

[Target] Teens to 30 years old LGBTQ+ people (including those who are still not sure).

[Capacity] Usually there is no limit on the number of people, but there might be depending on the COVID-19 situation.

On this occasion, we'll host a DVD viewing and opinion exchange party! The movie to watch is "Naniwa Vakina Monologue - Manko Solo Story" (なにわヴァキナモノローグ〜まんこ独り語り〜).
